Chief Operating Officer 

Steven Young is the Chief Operating Officer of Metro Laundry. As the COO, Steven is responsible for overseeing various aspects of daily operations, as well as business growth and development for the company.   

Steven began working at the company in 2004 as a supervisor. He progressed through the ranks under the expert guidance of his uncle, Bernard Young, the CEO, and gained valuable insight into all aspects of MLS’s operations. Steven also played a crucial role in shaping the company’s culture, which prioritizes reliability, quality service, and outstanding customer service.   

In addition to his internal work for the company, Steven has been actively involved in various trade associations and professional organizations, including the Textile Rental Service Association and Hotel Association of Washington, DC. Through these engagements, he has developed significant relationships with high-level hospitality professionals such as hotel managers, general managers, and executives within hotel ownership and management groups, leading to substantial partnerships for the company.  

Steven’s vision for the company, as the next generation of leadership, centers upon the continued promise of reliable commercial laundry services for the luxury hotel industry driven by the latest technologies. He aims to keep Metro Laundry Service on the cutting edge.
